WELCOME TO MANDARIN!

We are a church where transformation is happening. We believe, with all that we are, that Jesus is moving, creating, providing hope, changing lives, fostering transformation, and making all things new. We hope you will join us in one of our worship gatherings or small groups! On Sunday mornings join us for a traditional worship experience at 8:30am or a modern worship service at 10:45am. All of our groups meet at 9:30 on campus.

That is who He is and what He does and it is our great thrill to join Him in His work. Moving from death to life, seeing people rescued into the great, God story, and helping believers to grow in the grace and knowledge of Jesus Christ – that is what makes our heart race a bit at Mandarin Baptist. Our schedule will increasingly reflect our commitment to joining God in His work of transformation. Our teaching and our worship will lead you in a step toward transformed living each week.

Whether you're young or old, single or married, we have a ministry for you to get plugged into. Ministries that meet on Sundays and during the week, all waiting to welcome you and your family. While we, at Mandarin, long to create the right ministries and environments for God to gain the most glory among us, we fully recognize that we are desperate for a move from His strength that cannot be explained by man. Our heart and our hope is that God’s presence and power far supersedes our best laid plans. All glory to Him!

If you are new to Mandarin Baptist or have not had the opportunity to attend a Discover Mandarin Class, we would love to have you join us! You will meet the Staff Leadership Team, hear the mission and core hope for Mandarin, and learn how to take the next step in being connected. Discover Mandarin is the gateway to membership at Mandarin Baptist. While attending Discover Mandarin is necessary for membership, attending does not obligate you to membership. We will simply explain the membership process and let you know how you may respond.

God created us to live in relationship with Himself and to walk this journey of life with others. As we share life together as a faith family, we begin to discover the fullness of purpose that God intends for us. Pursuing life through community is God’s design, and groups are our platform for the expression of His mission and His vision for His church. This is where laughter, joy, study, mission, tears, redemption, transformation, hope and possibility occur.

Groups are intended to be like family, united by the gospel where people walk life and live on mission together. Our hope and our strategy is that every person is in a group and experiencing the wonder of biblical community. Together, we will learn to love God more fully; serve each other graciously; and live sent across Jacksonville and to the Nations. Small Groups meet weekly and primarly on Sunday morning.

We give because He gave. Giving cheerfully and sacrificially of our finances is part of our worship. A believer labors not to accrue personal wealth or possessions, but to steward God’s resources well and model Jesus to our brothers, sisters, and community.

God desires for us to excel in the grace of giving because He influences the world through His people. God gives to you so He can give through you. The Bible tells us that everything we have is a gift from God (1 Chronicles 29.14). As you give faithfully and joyfully, the world is changed for the glory of God: the gospel is preached, lives are touched, people are fed, bodies are healed, churches are built; and you, in turn, are blessed by God so that you can give again.
